jenlyn_b tagged me! (Or maybe
amanda_marrone , we're not sure. In any case, I was still tagged! So meme time!)
This one came from
memegirls: Would a rose by any other name smell as sweet? If you're as name obsessed as we are, fill out this Meme Girls original meme and share your name- and your favorites- with the blogging world. Then tag five friends to do the same.1. First Name: Jennifer
2. Middle Name: Marie
3. Name you go by: Jen or Jennifer (Please for the love of all things good, NOT JENNY)
4. Name(s) your parents call(ed) you: Ya-Ya----Between the ages of five and ten. My brother couldn't say Jennifer so he said Ya-Ya. It later became a nickname I do not want to repeat here because I hate it. And I asked my parents why they had to call me such a ridiculous name. Why couldn't they call me something nice? Like Cupcake? Well, they started calling me Cupcake after that, which I still am today. That's what I get, right? Should have just kept my mouth shut.
5. Other nicknames (past and present):Tilly, T.J., Tansi, J-Catt
6. What did you call yourself when you were little?
Jennifer
7. Were your parents considering any other names (that you know of) before they settled on yours?
Yes and I hate them more than Jennifer. I always complain about having the same name as eight billion other women out there, but at least I didn't get stuck with: Bertha or Tiffany
8. What does your name mean?
I'm just stealing this from Jen B. It means "white wave".
9. Do any famous people share your name?
Yes, too many.
10. Can you pronounce your name backwards?
No
11. Favorite girls' names: Alexandra, Isabelle or Isabella, Jordan
12. Favorite boys' names: Lukas, Alexander, Tristan, Asher
13. Favorite name you've ever read in a book: I'm drawing a blank.
14. Favorite name from a TV show: I always liked Xander from Buffy.
15. Favorite name for a dog/cat: Well, I like my cats' names, so: Anubis, Isis, Pandora
WRITERLY BONUS QUESTION:
16. Favorite character name from one of your own books: Kahne and Lukas...because I have a big crush on both of them and their names only add to their hotness.
